OBJECTIVES: By the end of this lesson, sts will have chance to say “Hello” and introduce themselves. Besides, they can practice writing the first words of English.

PROCEDURES:
Class settlement: - Greetings
Checking attendance
Check up: Call sts to stand up and speak again in order to check their work at home

Write
- Write the following sentences on the board
+ Hi! Nam
+ Hello! I am Mai
+ Hi! = Hello!
+ I am =
- Tell sts to copy into their notebook
- Go around the class and help them with their spelling and writing
- Ask them to write 3 times
Play with mini board
- Ask sts to use their mini-boards and chalks
- Tell them to close their books and notebooks.
- Read the words or the sentences and tell them to write down on their boards
- Tell them to show their boards
- Get the boards and ask sts if their writing is ok and if there are any mistakes
- Tell them to correct
- Correct again.
- Look at the board and copy down
- Practice writing
- Get the mini-boards out
- Close books and notebooks
- Write the words or sentences as the teacher read aloud
- Show the boards
- Correct friends’ writing
Conclusion: Now, sts can greet each other and introduce themselves and practice writing the first English words
